大学第10天军训感想
(As an international student sharing my thoughts on the 10th day of university military training.)
第一天:初次见面
大家好!我是来自遥远国度的留学生,今天是我在中国大学军训的第一天。军训?Military Training (MT) in Chinese universities is a unique experience, often lasting for a couple weeks at the start of the academic year. It's designed to teach teamwork, discipline, and a bit of patriotism. My first impressions? Well, let's just say I was a bit overwhelmed by the strictness and the heat. But hey, it’s all about learning and adapting, right?
第二天:汗水与阳光
太阳公公似乎特别喜欢 us foreigners, especially during drills. Drills include marching, turning, and standing at attention. We spent most of the day under the blazing sun, which made everything feel like a sauna. By the end of the day, my clothes were soaked in sweat, and I felt like a wet towel. Despite the physical exhaustion, I couldn’t help but admire the perseverance of my classmates. Everyone was pushing through, and there was a sense of camaraderie that started to form.
第三天:新朋友, 新 challenges
One of the best things about military training is meeting new people. I’ve made friends with students from different parts of China and even some other international students. We share stories, jokes, and sometimes even snacks. The language barrier can be challenging, but we find ways to communicate and connect. Challenges like these make the experience more interesting and rewarding.
第四天:The Drill Sergeant's Speech
Today, we had a special lecture from our drill sergeant. His words were both inspiring and intimidating. He talked about the importance of unity and how each of us plays a crucial role in achieving success as a team. It reminded me of the saying, "Together everyone achieves more." Even though the training is tough, hearing him speak made me realize that we’re not just going through the motions; we’re learning valuable life lessons.
第五天:The First Night Watch
Night watches are part of the military training experience. Each night, a group of students takes turns patrolling the campus. My shift was from midnight to 2 AM. Walking around in the quiet darkness was surprisingly peaceful. It gave me time to reflect on the past few days and appreciate the tranquility of the campus at night. Plus, the cool breeze was a welcome change from the scorching daytime heat.
第六天: Culture Shock and Adaptation
Culture shock is real, especially when it comes to military training. From the strict rules to the unfamiliar commands, everything can feel overwhelming at first. However, I’m slowly getting used to it. I’ve learned to follow orders promptly, march in formation, and even do some basic commands in Chinese. It’s amazing how quickly one can adapt when thrown into a new environment.
第七天: A Day Off
After six consecutive days of intense training, we finally got a day off. Many of us used this opportunity to catch up on sleep, wash our uniforms, and explore the local area. For me, it was a chance to recharge and reflect on what I’ve learned so far. I realized that despite the challenges, I’m enjoying the experience. It’s teaching me resilience, discipline, and the value of teamwork.
第八天: Overcoming Challenges
Today was particularly challenging. We had a full day of physical training, including running and obstacle courses. I struggled, especially with the obstacles, but I didn’t give up. Instead, I focused on improving my technique and pushing through the pain. By the end of the day, I managed to complete the course without any major mishaps. It was a small victory, but it boosted my confidence tremendously.
第九天: The Power of Teamwork
One of the key lessons I’ve learned during military training is the power of teamwork. Today, we worked together to complete a series of tasks. From building a human pyramid to solving complex puzzles, every member played a vital role. It was incredible to see how much we could achieve when we put our minds together. This experience reinforced the importance of cooperation and trust in achieving common goals.
第十天: Reflections and Looking Ahead
Today marks the end of our military training. Reflecting back, I’m amazed at how much I’ve grown over the past ten days. From being a novice at marching to becoming a confident member of the team, the journey has been transformative. I’ve learned to push my limits, embrace challenges, and most importantly, work well with others. As I look ahead to the rest of my university life, I know that the skills and friendships forged during this time will stay with me forever.
